Activities

Our monthly calendar consists of low or no cost activities for all age groups ranging from newborns and up. Members are encouraged to suggest activities so that the calendar reflects a variety of events and times that meet the diverse needs of our members. A copy of the upcoming calendar is always available at our Members Meetings. A member may attend as few or as many events as she wishes. Children are always welcome to attend activities.

Once a month, this night is designed with activities that interests mom!

Community Service
Each year our chapter must sponser a service project to help a charity or local group involving children in our community.

Some examples of the charities supported by our chapter in 2007-2008 include:

Sunshine Club
This committee offers support to moms who have a new baby, illness in their family, an impending move or general need for help with meals, child care and errands.

Service

MOMS Offering Moms Support

Whether you stay at home full time, have a home business, or work part-time, if you are with your children during the day and want to meet and socialize with other moms and children, the MOMS Club is perfect for you!

We are a daytime support group designed for YOU - the at-home mother of today!

Dues

The club's dues are $28.00 a year which pays for our room rentals, monthly newsletter and supplies. You may attend two regular business meetings before paying your dues, but you may not vote or participate in activity groups until you have paid your dues. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our executive board members.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Joining is simple. Come visit our next members meeting where we discuss various relevant topics and vote on any pending items. You can talk to current members and get an understanding of the club and our purpose. Membership applications are available at our meetings.

Our chapter is always open to new members and you probably won't be the only new person there! Some of use have lived here for years and are experienced mothers. Many of us are new in town and/or new to motherhood. We all have one thing in common...the MOMS Club! It has introduced us to other moms who stay at home...the ones that soon became our friends. It's easy and rewarding to join.
